Missing Piece

The canvas itself becomes a puzzle — four interlocking pieces of red and white forming the familiar shape of belonging and incompletion. From the heart of it, a profile emerges: a face, thoughtful and searching, traced in delicate thread. A fine line of white thread winds through the composition, as if stitching meaning into the gaps between pieces. We are all, in some way, looking for what fits.
